Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer-facing or patient-facing experience.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Professional phone communication and handling upset callers with patience.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with scheduling software.
• No prior medical experience required—training provided.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients and visitors.
• Manage front desk operations: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls.
• Review referrals, update patient records, and communicate next steps.
• Maintain patient flow by confirming appointments and managing waitlists.
• Collect copays and payments accurately and balance when needed.
• Protect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all interactions.
