Job summary

LensCrafters, part of Luxottica Group, seeks a part-time coordinator to support doctors, visitors, and patients. This role links doctor functions to ensure a premier patient experience and seamless vision-care service within the community.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, confirming appointments, handling charges, and maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA. Weekend/evening shifts and dress code adherence are required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients without delay.
• Prompts telephone inquiries in a friendly manner.
• Schedules appointments to optimize satisfaction and provider time.
• Notifies doctor of arrivals and delays to keep on schedule.
• Handles reminder calls for appointments and pickups.
• Records and updates charges, and handles third-party claims.
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies with the Practice Manager.
• Protects patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Ensures proper office system operation and safety.
• Adheres to policies and timekeeping; supports team needs.
