Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the UnitedHealth Group family, has an immediate opening for an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Primary Care team in Tolland, CT. This full-time role (40 hours) runs Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with one late night per week until 6 PM, and may float to nearby practices.

You will greet patients, check in/out, schedule appointments, handle calls, process payments, maintain demographics, and document in the EHR.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of receptionist or customer service experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct check-in and check-out process.
• Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries.
• Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up.
• Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols.
• Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues.
• Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols.
• Balance payments and prepare deposits.
• Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information.
• Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad hoc basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
