UnitedHealth Group's ProHealth Physicians is hiring a Medical Receptionist to join a patient-focused team in Bethel, CT. This full-time role supports front desk operations and patient check-in, with a schedule of 40 hours Monday–Friday.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, answer calls, document in the EHR, process payments, and maintain demographics. Some coverage at nearby ProHealth locations may be required; shifts start as early as 7:15am and end by 5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years receptionist or customer service experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients; schedule visits.
• Answer calls and document patient inquiries in EHR.
• Coordinate outreach for appointments and follow-ups.
• Schedule appointments using standard protocols.
• Manage work queues and in-basket items; balance payments.
