ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Groton, CT team. This full-time role supports front-desk tasks, patient flow, and billing processes while ensuring high-quality patient service.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, gathering demographics, verifying insurance, scheduling visits, and maintaining confidentiality within a team-focused environment that emphasizes care and accuracy.

Competenze

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and conduct check-in process.
• Load or update demographic and insurance information.
• Verify eligibility and flag appointments.
• Schedule appointments using approved guidelines.
• Collect co-payments and outstanding balances; post payments.
