Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to be the voice and face of the clinic. You will deliver outstanding customer service, handle front-desk operations, and support patient flow while coordinating with physicians and insurance providers.

The role requires 1+ years of medical office receptionist experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with EMR systems (Raintree a plus).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years medical office receptionist experience is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with EMR software; Raintree knowledge a plus.
• Understanding of Medical Insurance Verification & Authorization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and customers, representing the clinic.
• Maintain a pleasant, efficient flow in daily clinic operations through strong customer service and communication with staff, physicians, patients, and insurers.
• Assist with patient care tasks as needed and maintain orderly treatment, reception, and storage areas.
