Job summary

Upperline Health Inc. seeks a Customer-Focused Patient Care Coordinator for our Brainerd, TA clinic. You will handle front desk receptionist duties, greet patients, check them in, and prepare for appointments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include scheduling, keeping on-time schedules, managing patient records in EMR, collecting payments, and ensuring confidentiality. A fast-paced team environment awaits with strong support from regional and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in a healthcare clinic or customer service.
• Medical billing and coding experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working in an EMR; Athenahealth is preferred.
• Effective communicator with excellent grammar and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, compassionate, and professional demeanor with each interaction.
• Stable work history and team-oriented.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: greet patients, answer calls, obtain required information, and keep entrance area organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time appointment schedules by notifying physicians when patients arrive.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients.
• Update patient information and scan documents into EMR.
• Maintain office supply inventory and stock as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality and rights.
• Support team with additional duties as requested.
