Upperline Health in Austell, GA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians in delivering complex health services in the clinic.

You will greet patients, check them in, schedule appointments, collect payments, and keep accurate records in the EMR while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-desk receptionist or in healthcare clinic settings.
• Prior experience in podiatric or orthopedic practice preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Athenahealth.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Front desk duties: greet patients, answer calls, obtain patient information, keep entrance organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time appointment schedules by notifying physicians when patients arrive.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR by updating information and scanning documents.
• Manage office supplies: check, order, stock.
• Protect patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist with additional duties as needed.
