Healogics, LLC. in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Patient Navigator to support front office operations at our outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, schedule and coordinate care, verify insurance, and help keep patient records accurate.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of office experience (healthcare preferred), strong communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to type 60 wpm. This full-time role requires teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) or more years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting; Prior medical coding experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); strong communication and organization skills; ability to type 60 wpm; attention to detail; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors, answers and routes calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintains patient communication needs including scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders; coordinates with provider as per care continuum.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations; enters data into databases.
• Collects and enters patient charges; verifies and reconciles charges; prepares monthly patient survey data and documents for providers.
• Assembles new patient charts and maintains existing charts; checks data completeness and signatures.
• Coordinates/schedules ancillary testing with other hospital departments; arranges patient transportation.
• Maintains office equipment and supplies; manages medical supplies as directed.
• Performs other duties as required.
