Healogics, the largest provider of advanced wound care services in the United States, is seeking a Patient Navigator to support the outpatient wound care center. The role focuses on front-office operations, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and data entry to ensure smooth clinic flow.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of medical office experience, strong communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greet patients and visitors; route calls to staff.
• Manage scheduling, rescheduling and appointment reminders; coordinate provider schedules.
• Obtain and verify patient insurance information; perform pre-certifications/pre-authorizations.
• Enter and reconcile patient charges in databases; transmit data to providers.
• Assemble new patient charts and maintain existing charts; verify data completeness.
• Coordinate/schedule ancillary testing with other hospital departments.
• Arrange for patient transportation as needed.
• Maintain office equipment and medical supplies; perform other duties as required.
