Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
• Verify patient insurance; obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations; enter data in databases.
• Enter charges and verify accuracy; prepare monthly patient survey data and documentation.
• Assemble and file patient charts; coordinate ancillary testing with hospital departments.
• Arrange patient transportation and maintain office equipment and supplies.
