Qualifications

• Assist physicians in providing high-quality patient care and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Check patients in and out from appointments.
• Coordinate specialist appointments for patients.
• Collect balances, copays, and credit cards at time of service.
• Review lists of patients needing appointments and call to schedule.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for every patient.
• Assist patients with Kiosk sign-in.
• Comply with OSHA and DOH standards.
• Schedule, coordinate, and track STAT referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Protect patient demographic, clinical and financial information.
• Attend meetings/workshops related to position and office workflows.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
