Optum is hiring for a patient access/registration role at the Waterford, WI site. You will complete patient registration, verify demographics and insurance, and maintain accurate records while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will handle scheduling, payments, and inquiries, ensuring smooth clinic operations. Training is conducted on-site for 4–6 weeks, with a rotating schedule and a comprehensive benefits program provided.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in an office or professional setting.
• Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Mansioni

• Complete patient registration, verify demographics/insurance, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answer phones, manage patient inquiries, communicate delays, and ensure patient needs are met.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments while following provider protocols and patient needs.
• Collect copays and balances, process payments, reconcile cash transactions, and comply with financial policies.
• Route patient concerns, refill requests, and other clinical communications to the appropriate care team.
• Maintain EMR and other required systems and applications to support patient access and operational workflows.
• Maintain an organized reception area, monitor patient flow, and support a positive patient experience.
