Mercyhealth is seeking a Registration Specialist to provide professional support to patients, visitors, and staff through registration, admissions, scheduling, and insurance verification. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant patient data while delivering compassionate service.

In this full-time role based in Wisconsin, you will work as part of a collaborative team, handle high-pressure situations with calm, and support fellow departments to keep patient flow smooth and efficient.

Qualifications

• Graduate of high school or equivalent preferred
• One to two years customer service experience required
• Knowledge of third‑party payors preferred
• Medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and customers warmly and professionally.
• Assist with registration, admission, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Verify patient information and ensure privacy and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Support EPIC data entry and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate transport and assist other departments.
• Balance cash drawer and handle payments.
