• Previous Patient Access Representative or Patient Scheduler experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and process payments

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain demographics and financial information for appropriate care provision.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards and updates patient information in medical records.
• Performs point-of-service data collection, including co-payments and down payments, and reconciles cash.
• Maintains all assigned work queues per supervisor guidance.
• Interacts positively with patients and staff to provide high-quality service.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and refers to clinical team as needed.
• Sanitizes registration equipment between uses and restocks supplies.
• Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
