UnitedHealth Group (in partnership with ProHealth Care) seeks a Part Time Associate Patient Care Coordinator to support patient reception, scheduling, and insurance verification at our Waterford, WI campus. On-site training will be provided for 4–6 weeks, with a rotating schedule and duties across registration, payments, and communications.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate data entry, and proficient use of EMR systems to enable smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in an office setting.
• Beginner level proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient registration, verify demographics/insurance, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide customer service, answer phones, handle inquiries, and communicate delays.
• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments per provider protocols.
• Collect copays and balances, process payments, and reconcile cash transactions.
• Route patient concerns and clinical communications to the care team.
• Manage EMR queues, registrations, documents, and electronic communications.
• Maintain reception area and support daily clinic operations.
• Utilize EMR and required systems to support patient access and workflows.
