Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in a hospitality, medical receptionist, or Medical Assistant role.
• Experience with insurance verification, scheduling, and electronic health records preferred.
• Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding; HIPAA/ OSHA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and concierge service.
• Manage check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Schedule patient appointments, testing, and follow-ups with providers.
• Submit and track prior authorizations across platforms.
• Answer high-volume calls with courtesy and accuracy.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records in the EHR system.
• Keep front office area clean, organized, and stocked with forms.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members.
