Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follows all HealthTexas policies and procedures.
• Greets patients and visitors; checks in patients; updates information in EMR.
• Verifies insurance coverage and processes payments.
• Maintains appointment schedules and patient charts; handles referrals and authorizations.
• Maintains cash drawer and handles deposits according to procedure.
• Assists patients with portal access and Forms to streamline check-in.
• Works in a clinic environment with regular attendance and teamwork.
