Job summary

HealthTexas Medical Group of San Antonio seeks a Patient Care Representative to manage front-office operations, greet patients, verify insurance, schedule, and register patients across our San Antonio clinics. You will support billing, referrals, Healow portal, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering compassionate service.

One year physician office experience and a HS diploma are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of physician office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of managed care is a plus.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and checks in; verifies and updates patient information in the medical record.
• Maintains appointment schedules and confirms appointments.
• Verifies insurance coverage and assists with enrollment and referrals.
• Handles payments and coordinates with billing.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assists patients with portal access and EMR forms.
