Job summary

HealthTexas Medical Group seeks a Patient Care Representative to manage front desk operations at ALAMO HEIGHTS. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, update records and assist with billing while delivering compassionate service.

Successful candidates will have a High School diploma, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy clinic environment. Onboarding and training are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment and under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; check in patients and update medical records.
• Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information.
• Maintain appointment schedules and ensure referrals are obtained.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Handle payments and assist with billing inquiries.
• Support front office operations and assist in multiple departments as needed.
