Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Care Facilitator to be the first point of contact for patients in our Overland Park clinic. You will deliver exceptional customer service, assist with check-in/out, scheduling, and basic administrative duties, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient records.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, processing visits, verifying insurance, coordinating referrals, and supporting PCP and Specialist scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/check-out patients, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Maintain lobby organization and cleanliness.
• Coordinate PCP and Specialist scheduling and manage patient flow.
• Enter patient information into EMR, print forms, and process communications.
• Verify insurance information and collect copays as needed.
• Assist with follow-up appointments and referrals when necessary.
• Provide courteous assistance and ensure patient comfort throughout visits.
