Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in/out patients and schedule appointments.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and organization.
• Verify patient insurance and collect any co-pays.
• Assist with in-house referrals and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Respond to phone calls and messages accurately and promptly.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate records.
• Transmit correspondence by mail, email or fax.
• Participate in team huddles and support patient satisfaction initiatives.
