Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Facilitator to be a key first contact in our Tampa clinics. You will greet patients, check them in and out, schedule appointments, and manage essential front-desk duties with empathy and accuracy.

You will handle insurance verification, collect copays, assist with referrals, and support the care team with organized records. A friendly, detail-oriented communicator is essential for patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and records information while greeting, checking-in, or scheduling appointments.
• Conducts lobby checks to ensure organization and cleanliness.
• Manages PCP and Specialists schedules including top 40 patients every 13 days.
• Enters new patient information, prints forms, responds to emails and generates New Patient packets.
• Responds to inquiries, collects copays, and assists with referrals when needed.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and ensures comfort.
