US Eye in Charleston, SC seeks a Patient Care Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a courteous, organized experience. This full-time role supports reception, scheduling, and front-desk operations across locations.

You will verify information, assist with forms, manage check-in/check-out, handle scheduling inquiries, and support the clinical team across multiple sites. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, associate degree preferred.
• Experience in a customer service role is necessary.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond professionally to patient requests.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and direct all patients and visitors on entry to the practice.
• Verify information and assist with patient questionnaires and forms during check-in.
• Print daily schedules for team and physicians.
• Attend to walk-in patients and scheduling inquiries; manage prescriptions/records pickup.
• Disseminate information using phone systems and computer software.
• Cross-check and update next-day charts based on appointment schedules.
• Maintain an orderly, clean workspace ensuring safety for patients and staff.
• Complete appointment confirmation calls as scheduled.
• Collect co-pays and any balances at check-out as applicable.
• Complete essential reports and perform other administrative duties as needed.
