Job summary

Carolina Eyecare Physicians in Charleston and surrounding area is seeking a Patient Care Representative to act as the friendly, professional first contact for our patients. You will greet, verify information, and assist with forms to ensure a smooth visit.

The role requires strong customer service experience and MS Office proficiency; associate degree is preferred. You will support daily operations across clinic locations and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff.
• Provide check-in experience, verify information and assist with forms.
• Print daily clinician schedules and appointments.
• Attend to walk-in patients and scheduling inquiries.
• Update next-day charts and appointment information.
• Collect co-pays, non-covered service fees, and outstanding balances.
• Fill out essential reports and forms as requested.
• Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
