Job summary

US Eye is seeking a Patient Care Representative to be the friendly first and last point of contact for patients in our Charleston practice. You will greet, verify information, and support the front desk with a courteous, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities include check-in, appointment coordination, handling payments, and maintaining an organized workspace while delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to patient requests positively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff at the practice entry.
• Verify information and assist with patient questionnaires and forms.
• Print daily schedules and manage appointment flow.
• Attend to walk-in patients and scheduling inquiries.
• Handle co-payments and payments at checkout.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace for patients and staff.
• Complete reports and forms as needed.
• Support additional administrative tasks as required.
