Job summary

US Eye and Carolina Eyecare Physicians are seeking a Patient Care Representative to serve as the first and last contact for patients. You will greet visitors, confirm appointments, assist with forms, and support daily clinic operations.

The role emphasizes friendly, professional service, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Must be able to work under pressure and respond to patient requests positively.
• Associate’s degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct all patients, visitors, and staff upon entry of the practice.
• Verify information and assist with patient questionnaires and forms.
• Print daily schedules for the team/physician.
• Attend to walk-in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pickup.
• Disseminate information using telephone/computer systems.
• Cross-check and update next-day charts.
• Maintain an orderly workspace ensuring safety and integrity.
• Complete appointment confirmation calls.
• Collect co-pays, fees, and balances at checkout.
• Fill out essential reports and forms.
• Handle additional administrative duties as needed.
