La Clínica de La Raza is seeking Clinical Office Assistants to deliver a warm, patient-centered experience at our Bay Area clinics. You will be the first contact for patients, handling registrations, scheduling, and front-desk duties with professionalism.

The role requires excellent communication, a helpful demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting the care team and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical/dental terminology and office procedures.
• Familiar with MS Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify purpose of visit, and register patients in the electronic system.
• Verify program eligibility and determine source of payment.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Answer phone inquiries and route calls.
• Schedule, confirm, and process appointments.
• Sort mail, file, and photocopy documents.
• Enter data into medical records system and route lab results.
• Maintain confidentiality and work with the care team.
