Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or similar professional office setting.
• Meet health clearances required for healthcare settings.
• Medical Office Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, register patients, and verify information in the electronic system.
• Determine source of payment by verifying program eligibility in government or insurance plans.
• Collect payment for services rendered, operate cash register, and maintain an accurate till.
• Hear and resolve patient complaints or escalate appropriately.
• Schedules, confirms, and processes appointments.
• Maintain patient records and assist with general office duties.
• Protect confidentiality and support the care team in daily tasks.
