Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a medical office, customer service, or related business.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with EMR and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Oversee the cleanliness and inventory of the clinic.
• Maintain safety and sanitary requirements.
• Assist with set-up of treatment rooms and safety of the clinic.
• Answer the phones and relay messages.
• Schedule and remind patients for services and assure treatment goals are met.
• Perform insurance verification.
• Meet patients on first visit to complete paperwork.
• Collect co-payments and process card payments.
• Enter procedure codes into the EMR accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per PHOENIX guidelines.
• Perform end-of-day procedures as outlined in manuals.
• Carry out other office support tasks as needed.
