Qualifications

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while simultaneously performing data entry and information intake via phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect copay/deductible/co-insurance and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with iPad check-in, troubleshoot and provide feedback.
• Recognize when language services are needed and coordinate accordingly.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policy.
• Collaborate with technologists and radiologists to ensure proper patient flow.
• Handle mail and UPS deliveries, outgoing and incoming.
• Prepare setup for next day’s appointments and flag issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of all customer groups.
• Verify and enter information into systems.
• Respond to scheduling emergencies appropriately.
• Support with machine usage by filling templates (waitlist, 1/1 and 7/4).
• Answer patient and doctor concerns accurately and professionally.
• Update management on issues impacting the department or company.
• Stay current on policy changes affecting daily work.
• Maintain copay and petty cash accuracy; process daily deposits.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Perform related duties and support survey return goals across departments.
