Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Patient Care Representative to deliver exceptional customer service and support patient flow in a per-diem role. You will greet patients and collect copay/deductible/coinsurance while explaining consent forms and assisting with iPad check-in.

This role requires accuracy and discretion. You will collaborate with technologists and radiologists to ensure smooth operations, handle mail, and help set up the next day’s schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect copay/deductible/coinsurance.
• Explain consent forms and assist with iPad check-in; troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with technologists and radiologists to ensure patient flow.
• Maintain HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Handle mail and prepare next day’s appointment setup.
• Answer patient and doctor concerns professionally.
