Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy.
• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology and insurance requirements.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect copays/deductibles and explain consent forms.
• Assist with iPad check-in, troubleshoot and provide feedback.
• Highlight language services when needed.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA privacy.
• Collaborate with technologists and radiologists for patient flow.
• Process mail and UPS deliveries; prep next-day appointment setup.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient groups and data.
• Enter information into systems and respond to scheduling emergencies.
• Support Customer Care with waitlists and hold lists.
• Address patient and doctor concerns professionally and accurately.
• Keep management informed of issues affecting operations.
• Stay current with policy or procedure changes.
