Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies and/or obtains benefits information for patients.
• Obtains authorizations and referrals.
• Assists in collecting copays and balances; offers financial counseling as needed.
• Serves as insurance resource for clinic staff and stays updated on issues.
• Handles and routes all phone calls to appropriate departments.
• Manages patient appointments according to physician schedules.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
