Job summary

Valeris, a life sciences commercialization partner, is seeking a patient services representative to support program enrollment, benefits explanations, and payer coordination. You will engage patients by phone, document interactions, and ensure service levels align with regulatory standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and bilingual abilities (English plus Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience required.
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday required.
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus.
• Commitment to the mission of care coordination.
• Passionate, trustworthy, and empathetic when working with patients.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to speak concisely to patients.
• Flexible and adaptable in response to changing patient and healthcare providers' needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients by proactive communication and delivering accurate services.
• Ensure all interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate experience with pharmacy benefit products and patient needs to understand concerns.
• Conduct program welcome calls explaining services and resources.
• Utilize motivational interviewing to engage patients in goals.
• Explain coverage options clearly during post Benefits Investigations.
• Handle inbound inquiries and provide accurate information per FAQs.
• Articulate complex reimbursement and billing information clearly for patients.
• Document patient enrollment and interactions in the Lynk system.
• Coordinate shipment of products via patient assistance programs.
