Valeris is a fully integrated life sciences partner seeking a patient-focused coordinator to manage program enrollment, benefits explanations, and payer communications. You will engage patients, explain services, and navigate coverage options to support adherence and outcomes.

This role emphasizes strong communication, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the ability to work a flexible 8.5-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience required
• Customer service and healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work an 8.5-hour shift between 8 am to 9 pm, Monday to Friday required
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is a plus
• Commitment to the mission of care coordination
• Passionate, trustworthy, and empathetic when working with patients
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with patients by proactive communication
• Ensure all interactions comply with healthcare laws and regulations
• Discuss pharmacy benefit products and patient needs to support access to care
• Conduct program welcome calls and explain available services
• Utilize motivational interviewing to involve patients in goals
• Explain coverage options and benefits to patients clearly
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues per business rules
• Document patient enrollment and educate about treatments and costs
• Coordinate shipments and resources through patient assistance programs
• Support adherence services with nurse follow-up when applicable
• Identify peer support resources and facilitate referrals
