Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Training Specialist to facilitate insurance, compliance and registration training for Access staff. You will plan, assess, deliver and evaluate training programs, monitor module completion and maintain reference materials.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently or in a team while upholding high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• 2 years Registration/insurance experience or previous training experience required.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate upon hire preferred.
• Highly competent in registration and insurance procedures.
• Excellent communication interpersonal/facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers training for staff on registration and insurance policies and procedures.
• Develops, maintains, and delivers training modules and continuing education content.
• Evaluates registrations for quality assurance and provides educational feedback.
• Provides customer service registration and insurance support via phone and email.
• Supports Billing, Customer Service and Medical Records through registration duties.
• Communicates insurance and registration information to relevant departments and staff.
• Maintains references for registration and insurance entry procedures.
• Publishes periodic newsletters and updates on procedures.
