Akron Children's in Boardman, OH is seeking a Team Lead Patient Access to coordinate daily operations within the department and mentor staff. The role ensures accurate registrations, insurance verifications, and timely communications across teams.

You will oversee staffing coverage, monitor workflows, and participate in interviews and onboarding, while maintaining data accuracy and high-quality patient service in a dynamic hospital setting.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in patient access or related service fields.
• Experience supervising or leading a team in hospitality or service industries is preferred.
• Certification as CHAA or CRCR is preferred; certifications may offset experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily Patient Access operations and workload distribution.
• Mentor team members and ensure workflow compliance.
• Coordinate registrations, insurance verification, estimates, and payments.
• Provide staffing coverage and monitor queues and audits.
• Collaborate with ED, Outpatient, Urgent Care, and Admitting teams.
• Participate in interviews and onboarding of new staff.
• Escalate patient concerns as needed.
