Responsibilities

• Performs initial contact for patient access admitting services, ED, and outpatient registration duties (data collection; inpatient admission/updating; census activity).
• Processes medical records discharges and retrieves records as applicable.
• Registers social, demographic and financial information to create patient records.
• Obtains signatures on forms to treat patient and to bill insurance.
• Prepares forms and patient ID cards.
• Confirms financial eligibility when applicable.
• Processes patient records and financial folders; manages cash flow and daily deposits.
• Other duties as required.
