Akron Children's is seeking a Team Lead Patient Access to coordinate daily operations within the department. You will mentor staff, ensure workflow compliance, and maintain data accuracy while supporting smooth patient flow across departments.

Responsibilities include staffing coverage, scheduling, audits, and collaboration with clinical teams using Epic chat tools. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical registration or patient access.
• Experience with insurance verification/pre-certification.
• Team Lead experience in service industries preferred at ACH.

Responsabilités

• Ensure adherence to Patient Access workflows, including registration, verification, estimates, communication, and payments.
• Provide operational support across EDs, Outpatient, Urgent Care and Admitting.
• Manage staff assignments and shift coverage for efficient patient flow.
• Monitor track board for timely registration and documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments and verify medical orders as per protocols.
