Job summary

Community Health Network in Indianapolis is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative to coordinate all aspects of Patient Access with a customer-focused mindset. The role includes onboarding new hires, developing training materials, and providing data insights to leadership.

You will serve as a liaison for team members and supervisors, handle on-call coverage, and ensure accurate registration, scheduling, and insurance verification across the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Min. 2 years in healthcare/medical office environment.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including email and phone.
• Knowledge of patient accounts, registration, and billing/insurance.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements including pre-certification, verification, pre-registration and scheduling.
• Ability to interact well with all customer types.
• Ability to develop and implement new processes.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
