Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day frontline Patient Access staff across assigned hospital service areas.
• Ensure accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance.
• Support positive patient experience and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration, insurance capture, and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality performance; provide real-time feedback and coaching.
• Escalate operational issues, system concerns, or workflow barriers to the Manager as appropriate.
• Assist with staffing assignments and coverage to ensure adequate departmental support.
• Reinforce compliance with payer requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
• Maintain working knowledge of registration processes, insurance verification, and financial clearance workflows.
• Support compliance with HIPAA privacy and security standards.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
