Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; degrees preferred.
• 1–2 years in Patient Access or hospital registration.
• Experience in a unionized healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely registration and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality; provide real-time coaching.
• Escalate issues to Manager; assist with staffing coverage.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and HIPAA standards.
• Supervise onboarding, training, and performance of staff.
• Communicate updates from leadership to frontline staff.
• Collaborate with clinical units to resolve issues in real time.
