Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the department and ensure accurate data handling. You will schedule staff, resolve workflow issues, and coordinate with clinical and admin teams to maintain efficient patient flow and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in computer systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Patient Access department.
• Schedules staff and resolves issues to keep processes efficient.
• Ensures accurate patient demographic and financial data entry.
• Coordinates with clinical and administrative staff for patient arrivals and pre-service duties.
• Develops, revises, and maintains department policies and monitors quality and safety standards.
• Manages reporting and auditing of department results.
• Plans and oversees assigned projects.
