Qualifications

• High School Diploma, some college preferred.
• 2 years experience in related field; 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

• Effective interaction with customers to understand needs and convey data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work with staff at all levels under stress.
• Excellent written communication.
• Flexibility with hours for 24/7 unit staffing.

Responsibilities

• Select and assign department staff.
• Ensure new hires are trained to perform duties.
• Coach staff to meet quality and duties.
• Initiate coaching and performance improvement plans.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
• Review operations to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, CMS, EMTALA, HIPAA).
• Monitor productivity and staffing to optimize resources.
• Assist in establishing productivity standards and staffing requirements.
• Ensure units meet OT and productivity standards within budget and patient volumes.
• Maintain online documentation for each account activity and communicate thoroughly.
