Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflows and accurate patient information entry.

In this full-time daytime role, you will schedule staff, train new hires, coordinate with clinical and administrative teams, and drive process improvements while supporting exceptional service and fiscal responsibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, supervisory and computer skills.
• 2 years supervisory experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the Patient Access department.
• Schedules staff and resolves issues to keep workflows efficient.
• Ensures accurate financial and demographic information entered into records.
• Coordinates with clinical and administrative staff for patient arrival, registration and pre-service duties.
• Develops and maintains department policies and procedures, supports quality and safety standards.
• Promotes staff engagement and recognizes achievements.
• Monitors and reports on department performance and resolves issues promptly.
• Oversees department projects and initiatives.
