Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a supervisory Patient Access leader to mentor new hires and existing staff, overseeing daily workflows and ensuring timely clinical and financial processes.

The role focuses on guiding admissions-related operations, planning enhancements for Registration processes, and maintaining exemplary customer service while aligning with hospital and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• 2-4 year degree in Business, Accounting, Medical Administration or related area preferred.
• 4+ years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• 5+ years experience in Patient Access preferred.
• 2+ years in supervisory or lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentors and trains new hires and existing staff.
• Assists in short- and long-range planning for Registration Process areas.
• Maintains positive customer service and helps resolve issues.
• Enforces policies and assists in developing new policies per guidelines.
• Monitors daily activity and prepares performance/metric reports.
• Performs all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Supports management to ensure operational goals are met.
