Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Conifer Health is seeking an experienced Patient Access Supervisor to mentor staff, oversee daily workflows, and ensure accurate financial clearance processes across Admitting and Scheduling. You will monitor performance metrics and guide the team to meet operational goals.

You will lead training, manage escalated issues, and enforce policies while collaborating with hospital leadership to optimize revenue cycle management and patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• 2 or 4 year degree in Business, Accounting, Medical Administration or related area preferred
• 4 plus years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area
• 5 plus years experience in Patient Access preferred
• 2 plus years in supervisory or lead role preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support/mentoring/training to new hires and existing staff.
• Assists in short and long range planning for Registration Process areas (Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED, and clinics).
• Maintains positive customer service and assists staff in resolving issues.
• Enforces policies, procedures and work rules per department and hospital guidelines.
• Monitors daily activity and completes performance and financial reports; can handle special projects.
• Performs all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Acts with the management team to meet operational goals.
