Qualifications

• Experience in patient access, registration, or front-end revenue cycle in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance processes.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and function in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic leadership or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration, insurance capture, and documentation.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality performance; provide real-time feedback and coaching.
• Escalate operational issues or workflow barriers to the Manager as appropriate.
• Assist with staffing assignments and coverage to ensure adequate departmental support.
• Reinforce compliance with payer requirements, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
• Maintain working knowledge of registration processes and finance workflows.
• Support HIPAA privacy and security standards compliance.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
