Job summary

This role reports to the Manager of Patient Access Services, partners with clinical units, and supports a positive patient experience while meeting regulatory and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Patient Access or front-end revenue cycle operations within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Working knowledge of insurance verification and financial clearance processes.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic leadership or team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Patient Access activities to ensure timely and accurate registration and insurance capture.
• Monitor staff productivity and quality, provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Escalate issues to the Manager and assist with staffing coverage as needed.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements, regulations, and departmental policies.
• Supervise frontline representatives, including scheduling and performance feedback.
• Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff.
• Communicate updates to staff and partner with clinical units to resolve issues.
